The most
spectacular way to see the Napa Valley.
This is such a Napa Valley experience to be
remembered always. Napa Hot Air Balloon
flights are an early morning
activity and we suggest booking the reservations
early on in your trip so it doesn't kill you to wake up
at 5:00 am Pacific Time. The time
change/jet lag you are experiencing will be to
your benefit so long as you are not visiting
from Hawaii ;). It also helps if they need to postpone
the flight due to
weather conditions (as determined solely by the
hot air balloon pilot), you may have the
opportunity to take the flight later in your
visit to Napa Valley.
During the
spring and summer months the pick up time is
between 5:30 AM and 6:30 am depending on
daylight. Balloons above the Valley will
pick you up at your hotel or bed & breakfast and
will transfer to the launch site. You may
or may not see the balloon preparation but you
should be in the air by about 7:00 am. You
will fly (float) in a southerly direction and
land where ever the pilot deems safe and
appropriate. The chase crew will pick up
all of the passengers and return for a lovely
Champagne brunch in Downtown Napa. At your
leisure, the crew will return you to your hotel
or bed & breakfast anywhere between 8:30 am and
10:00 am.
Keep in mind, Napa Hot Air Balloon rides are
fairly predictable as far as "when" but not "where"
you will take off from or land. Dress in
layers and bring a camera!

They will charge your credit card on file (from
original reservation) immediately after the
flight. Please consider tipping your
pilot. If the pilot determines that it is
unsafe to go up, you will be offered the
opportunity to go again, you can work it out
with Balloons above the Valley at that
time.
