Tasting fees and lunch is not
included. We recommend budgeting about $50-75
per person in tasting fees, however, some
wineries don't have fees, some waive fees if you
buy wine or join their wine club, and if it's
your birthday let your host know ;)
Remember: There is no "pour" standard
per se so wine tasting in Napa is varied in
amount of wine per taste. It is our
opinion that each
winery pours you about 1 full glass of wine as a
typical flight of wine is 3-4 wine varietals at
1-2 ounces per pour.
So if you visit 5-6 different Napa Valley
wineries you could easily consume 5 glasses+ of
wine. So, uh, pace yourself and drink a lot of
water!
