Reason #1:
Minimized drinking & driving. If you
haven't been to Napa Valley this is your
starting point. If you have been to Napa
Valley to go wine tasting then you know exactly
how "buzzed" you can get throughout the day.
Reason #2: Everyone can have a great time.
No one has to worry about where to turn, getting
lost, etc.
Reason #3: Guaranteed Great Wine Tasting.
The drivers at Napa Winery Shuttle have scoped
out (and tested) the cool, interesting, fun wine tasting
experiences in Napa Valley. There are over
275 winery estates and another 200+ vintners
(may have a tasting room, but no winery estate
to visit). The Wine Shuttle has vetted out
some fantastic wineries to go wine tasting.
Napa Winery Shuttle's full day tour of Napa
Valley and wine tasting visits is $75 per person
but does not include lunch, tasting fees or
gratuity.

The Napa Winery Shuttle will pick you up at
your hotel or bed & breakfast somewhere between
9:45 am and 10 :15 am depending on where you are
staying. If you just want to come in to
Napa for the day we suggest parking at the Napa
Valley Marriott or River Terrace Inn hotels as
they have plenty of parking and may have
availability that night should you be compelled
to stay in Napa Valley just one more day!

Napa Winery Shuttle.
The wine shuttle is a lot of fun and at most
there will be up to 10 passengers on the tour.
You may make winery visit requests and the
driver will do their best to accommodate you
based on the day of the week and special events
going on throughout the day.
Wine Tasting fees, lunch and gratuity is not
included. We recommend budgeting about $50
per person in tasting fees, however, some
wineries don't have fees, some waive fees if you
buy wine or join their wine club and if it's
your birthday let your host know ;)
Lunch is usually at V. Sattui Winery or Dutch Henry or one of the
local gourmet delicatessens like Oakville
Grocery or Dean & Deluca.
The Wine Shuttle
will keep your wine purchases cool throughout
the day. They will return you to your
hotel or bed & breakfast between 4:30 pm and
5:00 pm. Typically, a pick up in Calistoga
or St. Helena cuts your day short, we suggest
driving down to Napa to get your "money's
worth".
We also recommend bringing bread or
crackers to snack on throughout the day as well
as some Tylenol to mitigate any major
headache. Drink lots of water throughout
the day too. Do your best to make Dinner
reservations by 6:00 pm as you will be pretty
hungry.
Remember: There is no "pour" standard
per se so wine tasting in Napa is varied in
amount of wine per taste. It is our
opinion that each
winery pours you about 1 full glass of wine as a
typical flight of wine is 3-4 wine varietals at
1-2 ounces per pour.
So if you visit 5-6 different Napa Valley
wineries you could easily consume 5 glasses+ of
wine. As we mentioned - drink a lot of
water!
